bitmark-kernel / browser-node Bitmark · BTM · live coin
A Bitmark node and wallet that run in this browser tab — the
bitcoin-kernel/browser-node stack pointed at a real coin.
The same consensus engine validates Bitmark's chain; the wallet is backed by an ElectrumX server, so it needs
no full-block download. Keys are generated locally and never leave the tab. How it works →

Bitmark Wallet (app) →
Clean tabbed app — Receive · Balance · Send · Network — built on wallet-core.js (tested, DOM-free logic). Standalone: bootstrap your own node (WebTorrent keystone → OPFS), follow the tip in-tab (validate blocks forward, balance updates live), and edit every endpoint from the Network tab. Local sign, P2P broadcast.
Bitmark Wallet (styled) →
The styled single-page wallet — node-backed balance, sign + broadcast. Same engine as wallet.html, brand UI.
keys →
Generate or import a Bitmark wallet (legacy P2PKH, address prefix b…).
wallet →
Node-backed wallet: balance from your own validated UTXO set (OPFS), sign locally, broadcast P2P — no trusted index. Electrum fallback.
electrum wallet →
The ElectrumX-backed wallet (fast, convenience): balance, build + sign a legacy spend, broadcast.
explorer →
Look up any Bitmark address — balance, UTXOs, history — via ElectrumX. Watch-only.
mempool →
Watch the unconfirmed mempool for an address — listen to the P2P relay flow in-tab, no API.
SPV proof →
Verify a transaction's inclusion in a block locally, with a merkle proof — the server only supplies the branch.
mesh →
Browser↔browser block propagation over WebRTC — tabs form a full mesh and relay real BTM blocks, no server in the data path.
node →
Sync + validate the Bitmark header chain in-tab from a peer (port 9265); linkage + structure checked, multi-algo PoW difficulty delegated.
full node →
Load a validated assumeUTXO keystone (bundled or over WebTorrent), validate blocks forward over P2P, and follow the tip — a full node in a tab. Or replay from genesis. No Electrum.
Honest corners
Bitmark uses multi-algo PoW; the block-identity hash is SHA256d (validated) but PoW
difficulty is not re-checked (delegated, as the reference bitmark-kernel does). Wallet balance/UTXOs/broadcast go
through a trusted ElectrumX index rather than a from-scratch scan. Bitmark has no SegWit — addresses are legacy
P2PKH (b…, base58 version 85).
